JESSICA RIGSBEE

ARTIST | EDUCATOR | CREATIVE

Born in Durham, but now living comfortably with her writer husband and cat daughter in Sanford, Jessica Rigsbee is a digital illustrator and teaching artist who creates happily busy, girly and colorful designs.

She aims to bring joy to the world and a smile to your face with her art. Her creations typically address themes like self empowerment, body positivity, mental health, space and nature--all sprinkled with a little sassiness and humor.

She is a former English teacher and currently works as an Artist Innovation Mentorship Teaching Artist for the NC Museum of Art, leading after school art programs in Chatham.

She has done a sprinkle of pretty much everything when it comes to digital art commission work: photo based portraits (people, pets and houses), logos, tattoos, custom fonts and lettering, greeting card design, fashion design, merchandise/product labels, event branding, website design and more!

If you want it, she can draw it. Help her feed her Depiction Addiction—hire her for custom work or browse around and shop for perfectly giftable celebrity saint candles, relatable stickers, humorous greeting cards, empowering art prints and more!

HOW MY PRODUCTS ARE MADE:

All of my products are hand assembled and packaged in my home office in Sanford, North Carolina.

I print all of my wall art prints, cards, and celebrity saint candle labels locally from Jones Printing Company, Inc. in Sanford, NC. They have been especially helpful for my business needs and they are my go-to community partners. They are always willing to work with me to make sure my order is perfect every time.

I print my waterproof, vinyl stickers and decals from California based small biz, Vinyl Disorder. I love the consistent quality of these stickers and the responsiveness of customer service. They last, are re-stickable with no problems at all. And all images come out clean and clear each time.

I print my vinyl banners for markets/events (and other specialized paper goods) from California based company, UPrinting. Their 33-step proofing process has been a lifesaver, ensuring all the designs I print with them turn out perfectly each time—and the banners are great for catching customers’ eyes. The turnaround time and consistent quality of their goods cannot be beat. I appreciate that they are an American-made company and prioritize eco-friendly printing.
